White Transitional Mudroom

This mudroom needed to be expansive enough to accommodate a family of six so the designers included tons of cubbies, a large closet, powder room and even a sink! An area rug from Oscar Isberia an a pillow from Jayson Home add pops of color.

Rustic Mudroom Sink and Round Mirror

This mudroom sink cleans up in rustic style, with wood cabinets providing ample storage. An Oriental rug brings warmth, color and a hint of sophistication, while a round mirror from Restoration Hardware ties the look together.

Quote Wall and Built-In Bench

The wallpaper in this mudroom was custom-designed using quotes the homeowner wanted to share with and inspire her children. Outdoor carpeting on the stairs is a smart choice for the high-traffic area, while a built-in bench provides a spot for removing shoes and jackets.

Basement Playroom Includes Chalk Wall

This playroom wins serious style points! The sofa uses perennials fabric for ultimate durability and has a soft frame so kids can climb and jump on it. The back of the room has built-in cabinetry for art supplies and a sink to wash brushes and messy hands. Colorful pillows keep the mood fun and light.

White Country Kitchen With Vaulted Ceiling

To make this oversized space feel comfortable for a large family, the designers combined earthy materials like reclaimed wood and handmade terracotta tiles with more traditional elements like the white painted cabinets. The Silestone counters were selected with durability in mind and the cabinets were customized to the specific needs of the homeowners.

White Transitional Chef Kitchen With Metal Hood

This kitchen's backsplash tiles, in a pretty Moroccan-style pattern, were custom-made for the space. The counters look like marble, but are a more durable material, better for the homeowners' family of six.

Dining Area With Blue Custom Cabinet

The custom cabinet in this dining area has mirrored doors that open up to reveal a TV. Cabinet paint: Blue Note Benjamin Moore; Light fixture: Restoration Hardware; Dining chairs: Design Within Reach

Contemporary Formal Dining Room

Dark walls painted in Farrow and Ball Downpipe create a comfortable cocoon of a dining room and are a dramatic foil for the custom oak dining table, simple bentwood chairs and modern light fixture. An area rug from Oscar Isberian softens the space.

Blue Contemporary Dining Room With Wood Table

To create this eclectic, dramatic dining room, the designers combined dark colors, warm woods and modern lighting. The simple, country feel of the table and chairs lightens the moodiness of the midnight blue walls.

Neutral Living Room With Leather Chair

A neutral palette is the perfect backdrop for strong furniture silhouettes and earthy details. In this stylish living room, a large scale mirror creates focus over a shallow fireplace mantel. Pillows from Zak and Fox add visual interest.

White Contemporary Living Room With Diamond Rug

This warm, earthy living room features comfortable upholstery and layered materials creating an inviting, stylish space. Bookcases around the fireplace were custom-built to house the family's book and object collection.

Family Room Features Plush Sectional

This friendly family room was designed with everyone in mind: The large, custom-made sectional perfectly fits this family of six and the built-in entertainment unit houses toys in the drawers and books and objects on the shelves.

Contemporary Laundry Room With Chevron Floor

Who would've thought a laundry room could be so fun? Patterned tiles and bright pops of color keep the space light but sophisticated. Floor tiles: Popham Design; Counters: Silestone; Light fixture: Schoolhouse Electric Lighting

Cottage Powder Room With Wallpaper

To update this small powder room, the designers painted the existing vanity a soft blue-gray, added a marble countertop and papered the walls.

Neutral Master Suite With Black Accents

This beautiful master bedroom is both practical and peaceful. The custom bed is upholstered in durable Perennials fabric that can stand up to the youngest members of the family. Art above the headboard gives a focal point to the serene space, as well as echoes the black hues in the lamps.

Armchairs in Master Bedroom

This sitting area is in the master bedroom. The serene and monochromatic space benefits from the use of rich fabrics and textures.

Country-Inspired Master Bath

The fresh-feeling design in this bathroom combines concrete tiles with bleached oak and painted cabinets for a feel that's organic and peaceful.

Pink Transitional Girl's Room

A hot pink built-in bed makes fun use of an awkward space under the eaves in this girl's bedroom. Basketweave wallpaper adds a bit of sophistication that lets the space mature with its young owner.

Pink Girl's Room With Built-In Bed

In this cheery girl's bedroom, a bed and bookshelf were built in under the eaves to take full advantage of the room's limited space. Patterned wallpaper adds another layer of visual interest and texture to the space.

Multicolored Girl's Bathroom With Yellow Vanity

Pops of bright color add whimsy to this girl's bathroom and make it feel fresh and young. The designer mixed graphic concrete floor tiles with a budget-friendly white subway tile backsplash for a look that's fun and full of interest.

Gray and White Contemporary Bathroom With Mosaic Floor

A gray-and-white guest bathroom is given personality via fun touches like the mosaic tile floor and luxurious elements like the thick marble countertop.
