This attractive midcentury modern kitchen features a stainless steel apron sink as well as a white kitchen island that provides extra dining space. The contractor removed walls and flipped the kitchen layout but maintained existing plumbing lines to reduce costs. The colorful wallpaper between two cabinets in the dining area complements the orange range, and sleek white slab cabinets help modernize the space to prevent it from becoming "kitschy."
The contractor used new and vintage pieces to achieve an updated midcentury modern look for this living room. Pet-friendly faux wood tile and FLOR carpet tiles and sofa fabric were also used.
