“Black and white is a classic combination that I will always love,” says designer Brooke Wagner. “Using greenery in a high-contrast black and white room is a great way to soften it up a little, while still keeping the palette neutral.”
Sliding glass doors open the living room up to the welcoming patio that's steps away from the beach. Comfortable neutral furniture pairs with weathered wood, while a striped blue rug grounds the space.
Make a statement in the entry with paint colors, furnishings and accents that are a sneak peek of what's featured throughout the house. Here, the gold and white combo of the lamp, ceiling and stools are deliciously fresh against charcoal gray walls.
Stainless steel countertops ensure this laundry room is fit to endure some serious laundry catastrophes. Gray appliances and cabinets work well with the countertops, creating a tone-on-tone palette that feels calm and tidy.
"A trend that I believe will always remain timeless is using natural stone —especially white marble is just so classic," says interior designer Brooke Wagner. "You'll always see me going for a honed or antiqued finish; they're my fave! Often times we do stain grade or paint grade gray cabinetry to complement an otherwise white kitchen. Another way to add character is decorative hardware and an interesting light fixture. These are surefire ways of keeping your space perfect for years to come."
Shades of gray and white create a calm and stylish look in this master bedroom. A herringbone accent wall brings texture to the design behind a gray upholstered headboard and layered throw pillows. Two stone-based lamps add a unique touch, and light from the window and French doors creates a natural brightness.
To reflect the beautiful beach views, subtle blues are mixed with a soft neutral color palette. The upholstered headboard provides a simple backdrop to the striped and patterned pillows. Two dressers flank the bed, providing much-needed storage.
A trio of white-and-chrome pendant lights highlight the large island, which pairs weathered wood with sleek white countertops. Nailhead-trimmed barstools allow for a casual dining spot, creating a family friendly kitchen.
