As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the new master bedroom replaces the old office/bedroom. The original window has been enlarged to create a set of double doors with luxuriant window treatments that open onto the backyard. Several large wardrobes line the wall facing the bed, providing lots of storage. The doorway entrance was also moved further down the hall to accommodate the new door entrance into the room.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, another children's bedroom is shown located on the third floor, above the master bedroom. The room has been completely updated with a bright mint color pallete, new wardrobe, and bed set. A new doorway was created to access the new powder room, located between the two rooms on this floor. This new bedroom located on the second floor at the back of the home was previously the second floor bathroom and laundry area. The space has been transformed into a unique L-shaped bedroom with new wood floors, a large closet, bright wall colors, and an accent wall with a night city scene as wallpaper.
This new master bathroom was located where the old second floor kitchen was previously. Double vanities, bright wall sconces, and large mirrors create plenty of space for the family. Storage was created under the vanities, and near the toilet opposite the shower. Textured gray ceramic tiles and clean white walls create a bright and modern atmosphere. A wall mounted towel warmer adds convenience and comfort.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the first floor bathroom has been transformed into a small music room for a quick jam session. Guitars, banjos, bongos and other instruments line the walls and beg to be played. The back wall is painted a contrasting black and reclaimed wood beams create shelves to display the home owner's vinyl record collection. New wood floors give the room a great sound.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the renovated kitchen is now located where the old dining room once was. A window was closed up to make room for the new stove and countertop area. A large kitchen island with double sink basins now separates the dining area from the kitchen, and provides a casual eating spot. Modern pendant lighting adds a rich golden color to the dramatic black walls and red bar stools.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the new living room, located just off the front door entrance, occupies the old kids room and front parlour. The walls of the old parlour and living room have been removed to create an open concept floor plan on the first floor. The fireplace was painted white, a brick vineer was added, and a new mantle was installed. The stairway wall was widened slightly. New overhead lighting, window treatments, and personal effects of the home owners give the room a modern but eccletic look.
