The coastal design is carried out through the natural, beachy colors he uses, such as the aqua blue of the ocean and the coral of the reef. He then used natural materials, such as the wood framing around the windows and the wood end tables to bring the outside in even more. The finishing touch is the picture of the sand piper above the bed.
As seen on Vacation House For Free, the previous door was knocked down and the wall was opened up to allow light to flow into the rest of the house. The wall was evened out, which allowed for the vaulted ceiling in the dining space.
