As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the new master bedroom replaces the old office/bedroom. The original window has been enlarged to create a set of double doors with luxuriant window treatments that open onto the backyard. Several large wardrobes line the wall facing the bed, providing lots of storage. The doorway entrance was also moved further down the hall to accommodate the new door entrance into the room.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, another children's bedroom is shown located on the third floor, above the master bedroom. The room has been completely updated with a bright mint color pallete, new wardrobe, and bed set. A new doorway was created to access the new powder room, located between the two rooms on this floor. This new bedroom located on the second floor at the back of the home was previously the second floor bathroom and laundry area. The space has been transformed into a unique L-shaped bedroom with new wood floors, a large closet, bright wall colors, and an accent wall with a night city scene as wallpaper.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, designer Hilary Farr reconfigured the former dining room into a stunning kitchen by adding stainless steel appliances and dark cabinets that pop against the tiled backsplash. To keep some of the home's traditional character, crown molding was added to the new cabinets for a classic look.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the new dining room is located where the old kitchen previously was. The window remains unchanged, but the rear door to the back yard has been replaced, as well as a new doorway to a music room on the left. Reclaimed barn board and a custom dining room table add a warm, rustic feel to a casual dining area. The piano, decorated with the home owner's own art, has been moved here from the old living room. Finally, new window treatments, colorful pillows, and updated recessed and pendant lighting give a modern and fun vibe throughout. (HlILI908 After Kitchen 4)
