An unused workshop in this home's backyard was renovated to include a desk area with wall-to-wall storage, a custom metal staircase leading to a guest loft, a custom kiln, a bar cart and new concrete floors.
To connect the bedroom to the walk-in closet, Encircle Deisgn and Build's Klaas deJonge designed a keyhole doorway with a built-in bench. A custom platform bed and headboard are built from reclaimed lumber, while the room has cork flooring.
This mudroom features lots of storage, coat hooks for the family's children and lots of storage. Shelving and handrails are made of reclaimed lumber and the ceramic tile floor is ready for muddy Oregon boots.
